Amazon’s Big Spring Sale opportunity for carriers

The Big Spring Sale will kick off Amazon’s first major shopping event of 2026. Every Big Spring Sale order will be booked by carriers on Relay’s load board and contracts marketplace. Here’s why shoppers and trucking companies alike should rev those engines.

What is Amazon’s Big Spring Sale?

Like Prime Day in summer and Prime Big Deals Day in fall, the Big Spring Sale means a high volume of Amazon freight. But unlike those other sales, a Prime membership isn’t required to shop deals.

That means all customers can take advantage of the limited-time offers on seasonal essentials. While Prime members will still get their free shipping and exclusive perks, every shopper is now given a reason to save. So a whole lot of hauls are about to hit Amazon Relay’s load board and contracts.

When is Amazon’s Big Spring Sale? How long does it run?

Amazon’s Big Spring Sale dates are official for 2026. The seven-day stretch starts Wednesday, March 25, through Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

2026’s event is adding new Top 100+ Lists of seasonal picks, daily deal drops, and doorbusters. That combination of incentives is likely to create even more sales volume, and Relay carriers of every size will be the ones delivering those huge hauls nationwide.

Where does Amazon Relay come in?

Amazon Relay is a self-service portal that directly connects approved trucking companies to Amazon’s loads. Those carriers just choose the business opportunities that fit their goals. As with all of Amazon’s high-volume freight events, it’s the perfect time for carriers to score profitable spot loads and dedicated routes.

  • Consistent, quality freight: Relay carriers can access thousands of local and regional loads every day to help scale their business. But the Big Spring Sale typically adds a full week of high volume as shoppers grab end-of-season savings from the garden to the grill.
  • Variety of available freight: Amazon’s light, power-only loads tend to be easy on the body and equipment. But Relay offers work for a variety of equipment types, and extra volume is a chance to diversify business and build long-term stability. With the ability to automatically match with their desired load criteria on Post A Truck or rent idle trailers to Amazon through the equipment marketplace, Relay carriers can take advantage of the Big Spring Sale’s demand as needed.
  • Tools that drive success: During high-volume periods, Relay’s free, fleet management software provides carriers with flexible scheduling, real-time load tracking, and fast payment options.
