How long does it take for an application to get approved?
Once we receive your company’s completed Relay application, it will be approved or rejected within 1-3 weeks. Delays, if any, will be due to validation of insurance information. Amazon urges you to have all data ready prior to applying and reach out to your insurance provider in the event of any delays.
I never heard back after submitting my company’s application. What should I do?
If you haven’t received a follow-up communication from Relay within 5 business days, check that your FMCSA contact information matches your Relay application details, down to the dash or comma. Our onboarding team uses the information on file with the USDOT to reach you. If everything looks correct but you still haven’t heard back, please contact Relay support for further assistance at onboardwithrelay@amazon.com
My company’s application was rejected. Can I reapply?
In many cases, you may be eligible to reapply. However, some rejection reasons—such as serious compliance issues—may disqualify you from submitting a new application. We recommend first reviewing the reason for your rejection. If your issue is something that can be resolved, like insurance coverage, authority status, or missing documentation, you’re welcome to reapply once it’s been addressed.
