Amazon Relay carriers of every size can now access potential tiered benefits and cash bonuses through our new rewards program. Here’s how Relay Rewards thanks top performers for dedicating their fleets to Amazon’s on-time, safe delivery – and how you can haul your way to a high tier.
What is Relay Rewards?
Relay Rewards is Amazon Relay’s innovative program. It recognizes Relay carriers for consistently meeting Amazon’s high standards for safety, trust, and performance. All new carriers start in the Basic tier, but the more you haul, the more opportunities you have to unlock additional rewards.
- Promotional bonuses: Earn extra on select loads during limited-time sweepstakes for specific regions, load types, and dates, where available. Bonus amounts increase with each Rewards tier, and they’re generally paid out within three weeks after the promotion ends.
- Deals and discounts: Potentially reduce your operating costs with Amazon’s negotiated rates on fuel, insurance, truck rentals, tires, maintenance, and more.
- Booking offers: We’ll offer certain loads exclusively to our highest-tier carriers.
- Dedicated office hours: Receive priority assistance from Amazon Relay’s support team.
- Amazon swag: Get branded gear as you move up the tiers.
How Relay Rewards works
Your company’s Relay Rewards status is evaluated and updated on the 5th of every month (e.g. October’s operational performance will inform your refreshed tier and benefits for November).
Here’s the eligibility criteria:
- Performance score: Relay’s scoring system for on-time, safe delivery determines when and how much work a carrier can book. Your Rewards tier is calculated using your company’s lowest score from the previous month.
- Engagement: The total miles driven the previous month, with thresholds based on your number of verified drivers.
- Tenure: How long your company has been part of the Relay network.
If your company drops a tier, you won’t lose any deals and discounts you’ve already enrolled in. But you’ll need to requalify for higher-tier benefits.
